Meet Dr. Garg
Dr. Garg's approach centers around appreciating the unique needs of each and every patient to provide individualized care. While obtaining her Master's degree in Nutrition, she began to appreciate the science behind how food affects disease, and more importantly, how it can promote health. She went to medical school to further learn how nutrition and lifestyle impact every aspect of health, but found her training often emphasized pharmacotherapy and disease management, rather than comprehensive healing and disease prevention. As a family physician, she felt frustrated by short visits that were neither personalized nor effective in helping patients optimize their health. This led her to pursue training in integrative medicine, a science-based approach that couples conventional medicine with complimentary techniques to heal people in a more complete, multifaceted way.
As a physician with formal training in both family medicine and integrative medicine, Dr. Garg is uniquely poised to understand the pathophysiology associated with disease and poor health, while being armed with a variety tools to promote wellness and life long healing. She will work individually with you to address your specific concerns, while also helping you optimize your health in ways you may never have imagined.
